Not a top transfer target: Coman track to FC Barcelona is not hot
With the signing of Vincent Kompany, FC Bayern’s squad planning is also gathering pace. Several players could leave the German record champions next summer – including Kingsley Coman. However, a move to FC Barcelona does not appear to be on the cards.
Rumours have recently been doing the rounds that former Bayern coach Hansi Flick is very interested in working with Kingsley Coman again. The Frenchman is no longer uncontroversial at Bayern – particularly due to his susceptibility to injury.
However, according to information from Sky, Coman is not currently a top transfer target for Hansi Flick and FC Barcelona. This is mainly due to the financial framework conditions of a possible transfer. On the one hand, Bayern are said to be asking between 50 and 60 million for the 27-year-old, while on the other, Coman earns more than 17 million gross per year in Munich.
Of course, the Catalans have not been unaware of the winger’s high susceptibility to injury. During his time at FC Bayern, Coman missed more than ten competitive matches due to injury in six of nine seasons. Last season alone, he missed 21 games.
Wow, Respekt. Was ein Umbruch. Das wird sicher eine tolle Saison.
