After reaching the Champions League semi-finals, FC Bayern is in a jubilant mood. The dream of triumphing in the premier class lives on. The FCB stars are hoping for the big coup – together with Thomas Tuchel.

Before the quarter-final second leg against Arsenal, Bayern emphasised that the Champions League was their last chance to salvage a botched season.

Just how happy the German record champions were after their 1-0 win against the Gunners was evident in the dressing room a little later. Bayern posted a celebratory photo of the entire team on X. Even the suspended and injured players such as Serge Gnabry and Alphonso Davies didn’t miss out on this moment. Striking: At the very front of the picture, a beaming Tuchel cheered with outstretched arms. The 50-year-old seemed to want to shout out all his frustration.

Bayern fans joke: Tuchel has lost the dressing room?

The image is symbolic, especially in view of the past few weeks and the persistent rumours that Tuchel has lost the „Bayern dressing room“. „The chemistry between the team and Tuchel is not right, it was said. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words,“ commented one user. „The coach and the lost dressing room,“ joked another user.

In addition to the fans, goalscorer Harry Kane emphasised once again after the game that the team is behind their coach in the truest sense of the word: „He’s very proud of us. We’re behind Thomas until the end of the season. He gives everything! We really feel we can end his tenure here with a success,“ the Englishman explained on Sky.

„Satisfaction? I can’t confirm that“

Tuchel himself was relaxed after the great triumph. The FCB coach didn’t want to know about a certain satisfaction: „I can’t confirm that people are now asking at the press conference whether I feel satisfaction. Of course, but not because of that, because otherwise I would give too much importance to what is happening to me. You have to decide how you can live with it – not me,“ clarified the 50-year-old.
