The separation has been an issue for some time, but now FC Bayern has made it official. Former Technical Director Marco Neppe is leaving the club.
FC Bayern and former Technical Director Marco Neppe are now officially parting ways. Neppe worked for the club for a total of ten years. Neppe came to Munich from Leverkusen on 1 July 2014 and most recently worked as Technical Director.
According to a statement from the record champions, the collaboration ended „after ten successful years by mutual agreement“.
Jan-Christian Dreesen, CEO of FC Bayern, said: „I would like to thank Marco Neppe for the long collaboration. We have celebrated many successes during this time, and Marco Neppe has also discovered outstanding talents such as Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala, who have matured into world-class players in Munich. He was an important factor in squad planning and, not least because of his excellent network, also in the handling of many transfers. We wish Marco Neppe all the best for the future.“
Neppe: „FC Bayern will remain part of my history“
Marco Neppe himself said: „I would like to thank FC Bayern for the trust, support and, above all, the opportunity I have been given here. FC Bayern will remain part of my history and I am proud of that.“

Miese Arbeit
