Mané wants to join Bayern – What does it mean for Gnabry’s future or Dembele interest?
Bayern Munich have been linked with Sadio Mane’s in recent weeks. The 30-year-old player can very well imagine a move to the German record champions. Bayern have intensified their efforts to sign the Senegalese.
According to „Sky Germany“ , the Mane transfer dealy is slowly but surely picking up speed. The Senegalese has a contract until 2023 and has not yet made a decision about his future. Apparently, Mane can imagine a move to Bayern. The financial conditions also appear to be quite feasible for the club.
According to Sky Germany, the next three to four weeks will be crucial. Bayern could have a realistic chance of signing Mane in the summer. Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic and head coach Julian Nagelsmann are pushing for this “major transfer”. Sky assumes that a Mane transfer is becoming quite „realistic“.
What is interesting: Mane is reportedly available for a fee of less than 50 million euros. His current market value is 80 million euros, which could real bargain and quite feasible for Bayern.
Apparently, there was another meeting between Salihamidzic and the player’s management last weekend. So far, however, Bayern has not been in contact with Liverpool.
What does this mean for Gnabry’s future?
According to Sky Germany, Serge Gnabry will not be extending his contract. It is not known whether the decision has been final, but it is slowly pointing towards that direction.
The only question remains the path that the club will take concerning Gnabry’s departure, will he leave this summer? Or will he leave on a free transfer?
Most recently, SPORTBILD revealed on Monday that Bayern Munich will be taking no more chances regarding Gnabry. They have already set a 17 to 19 million euros salary limit to Gnabry, an offer which the German international has neither accepted nor rejected.
Dembele is not a „hot topic“
According to Sky Germany, Ousmane Dembele has been another name that has emerged from the media for the Bayern wings. His future at Barcelona is also unclear. His advantage would be that if he were to leave, he’d leave on a free transfer this year.
But the obstacle that makes Bayern be hesitant towards the Frenchman are the high salary demands. One of the reasons why Barça were hesitant to extend his contract were exactly his major financial demands. For Bayern, apparently, it is no different.
