FC Bayern will face SC Freiburg on the road this Sunday. We’ll show you where to watch this top Bundesliga matchup live on TV and via stream.
FC Bayern’s Bundesliga campaign continues on Sunday. To wrap up Matchday 7, Vincent Kompany’s team will face SC Freiburg on the road. Kickoff at the Europa-Park Stadium is at 5:30 p.m.
The current standings promise a true top-of-the-table clash. After six matchdays, FC Bayern leads the table with 14 points and a goal difference of 22-5. Freiburg is right behind them in third place with 13 points.
The Sport-Club had even been at the top of the table itself until a week ago, but had to relinquish that position after a 1-2 loss at Bayer Leverkusen. Freiburg has been strong at home so far, winning all of its home games to date.
Bayern travels to Freiburg following their 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the Champions League. The Munich side will be without Luis Diaz, who suffered a minor muscle tear in the back of his left thigh and will be sidelined for several weeks.

Bayern aims to defend its lead in the standings
From a sporting perspective, the Munich team’s goal in Freiburg is to hold onto first place. Notably, in the current Bundesliga season, no league leader has yet managed to defend its top spot on the following matchday.
Nevertheless, FC Bayern enters the match as the league leader. Following the draw against Arsenal, they now face an opponent that has yet to drop a point at home this season.

var d=e.data||{};
if(d.type===’FOOTY_WIDGET_HEIGHT’&&typeof d.height===’number‘){iframe.style.height=d.height+’px‘;}
});
})();
Freiburg, however, enters this top-of-the-table clash on the back of two straight losses. Following a 1-2 defeat in Leverkusen, the Sport-Club lost 0-3 to AS Monaco in the Conference League midweek.
For Bayern, the key will be to compensate for Diaz’s absence on the left side of the attack. The Colombian had recently taken on an important role in Munich’s offense and will also be out for the upcoming matches.
