Michael Olise has long since become a key player at FC Bayern. The Munich club has a clear plan for his long-term future.
Michael Olise has developed into a superstar at FC Bayern. Consequently, interest in the French national team player from other top European clubs is high. The Munich club, however, remains extremely relaxed about the situation.
According to information from Sport BILD, there are currently no concrete talks regarding an early contract extension. That does not mean, however, that FC Bayern is sitting idly by when it comes to Olise. Rather, club officials have established a clear timeline for the 24-year-old’s future.
Olise’s current contract runs through 2029 and contains no buyout clause. Internally, the attacking star is considered unsellable anyway. The clear stance at Säbener Straße is this: If FC Bayern wants to compete for the Champions League title on a long-term basis, a player of this caliber must not be sold—not even for an exceptionally high transfer fee.
Bayern plans to keep Olise for the long term
According to Sport BILD, Olise is expected to let club officials know by next summer at the latest whether he can, in principle, envision extending his contract beyond 2029. Until then, Bayern’s bosses see no reason to put unnecessary pressure on the talks, given the length of the contract.

var d=e.data||{};
if(d.type===’FOOTY_WIDGET_HEIGHT’&&typeof d.height===’number‘){iframe.style.height=d.height+’px‘;}
});
})();
Nor do the recurring speculations about Real Madrid appear to be causing any nervousness in Munich. The top Spanish club is said not to have contacted Olise directly so far.
For FC Bayern, the strategy is clear: In the short term, there is no pressure to act regarding Olise, but in the long term, the Frenchman is expected to play a key role. Whether this will actually result in a new contract should become clearer over the coming months.
