FC Bayern has already signed two of its top transfer targets: Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown. However, as things stand, no further major investments are planned. Instead, the Munich club intends to strike only if a genuine opportunity arises on the market.
With Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, FC Bayern has already achieved its most important transfer goals for this summer early on. Accordingly, there is likely to be significantly less activity at Säbener Straße in the coming weeks than there has been recently.
Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg made it clear that club officials are extremely satisfied with their squad planning so far: “There shouldn’t be much more happening on the signing front. Bayern are very happy with their two new signings, Saibari and Brown. Yes, they’re keeping an eye out for opportunities on the market, but as things stand, at most one more signing is planned.”
This suggests that Munich will only be active on the transfer market again if an exceptional opportunity arises.
Outgoing players remain the most important topic for Bayern
Plettenberg had recently hinted that FC Bayern could, in principle, make further signings despite the reinforcements they’ve brought in so far. However, this would require additional revenue from player sales.
Joao Palhinha, in particular, is still considered a prime candidate for a sale. Bayern has also already generated additional revenue from the transfers of Noel Aseko and Jonathan Asp Jensen to create financial flexibility for potential further signings.
Internally, club officials are still monitoring various options on the market. Candidates have been repeatedly linked, particularly for the left wing and central midfield positions. Possible names mentioned include PSG’s Fabian Ruiz and the Brazilian talent Gabriel Bontempo. While Ruiz is expected to extend his contract in Paris, a transfer of Bontempo also seems rather unlikely at this time due to the high transfer fee demanded.
Against this backdrop, there are strong indications that FC Bayern has largely finalized its roster. Following the signings of Brown and Saibari, the focus is now primarily on further sales. However, should an attractive opportunity arise on the market before the end of the transfer window, the Munich club has not ruled out one final new signing.
