Bryan Zaragoza remains on the market at FC Bayern. Now, a specific destination the winger is reportedly interested in is being discussed. Will a deal be reached?
The German record champions are apparently planning their future without Zaragoza. The 24-year-old is considered a transfer candidate and is expected to leave the club this summer. The biggest question is where the speedy attacking player might end up.
According to a report by Radio Marca Málaga, Zaragoza has chosen Málaga CF as his preferred destination. The report states that the player is convinced his hometown club offers the right environment for him to finally reach his full potential. A return would fit perfectly with the Spaniard’s background: Málaga is Zaragoza’s birthplace.
Several Spanish clubs are being considered as possible options
However, the Málaga option isn’t the only one being discussed in Spain. Zaragoza has a particularly strong market in his home country, where several clubs are being mentioned as possible options. Espanyol Barcelona and Celta Vigo are also said to be showing interest in the attacking player.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Espanyol is interested in signing him. Celta Vigo also keeps coming up: theSpanish newspaper Nós reports on a possible desire to return. Zaragoza had previously been on loan to Celta Vigo, followed by a loan to AS Roma, where, however, he was unable to establish himself and thus failed to make a strong case for a permanent move.

This is how much Bayern is asking for Zaragoza
One thing is clear, at least from Bayern’s perspective regarding Zaragoza: he no longer has a future at the club on Säbener Straße. The club is reportedly asking for a transfer fee of 13 million euros for the Spaniard.
Whether Zaragoza will ultimately end up at Málaga or possibly join one of the other interested Spanish clubs remains to be seen. An agreement with a club or a final decision by the player has not yet been confirmed.
