Harry Kane is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world right now. He even scored twice for England in their World Cup opener. Many experts can’t stop raving about him.
His season with FC Bayern was absolutely impressive; Kane won three domestic titles with the record-holding champions. He is currently playing for England at the World Cup, and the Three Lions are considered contenders for the title.
A strong tournament in North America would further bolster Kane’s own ambitions of winning the Ballon d’Or. Many consider him the main rival to PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé.
Klopp raves about Bayern star Kane
The international press celebrated Kane after England’s opening victory over Croatia (4–2), and expert Jürgen Klopp—who is covering the tournament for Magenta TV alongside former Bayern pros Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels, among others—is also full of praise.

Commenting on England’s match , Klopp said: “ It’s incredible. He’s changed the game for strikers. And I’ve worked with some of the best strikers in the world, including Robert Lewandowski, Roberto Firmino, and Mo Salah. I’ve had incredible players.”
But no one has managed to impress the former Liverpool coach quite like Kane: “He’s special. People used to say Thomas Müller was a master of reading the game. Well, I don’t know what to call Kane—he’s on the next level. The spaces he moves in are even tighter. You have to create a new position for him. I played as a ‘false 9’ at Liverpool; he’s more of a ‘false everything’ because he’s everywhere.”
Klopp sees Kane currently at the absolute highest possible level: “He has a great attitude toward the game, has the best shooting technique in the world, and is completely calm. He’s in top shape. That’s a huge difference—that’s why he’s in the form of his life right now, always a goal threat, focused right down to the last second. He’s simply an incredible player.”
