FC Bayern appears to be on the verge of its next transfer. Now, a potential future teammate of Nathaniel Brown from the German national team has spoken out and made no secret of his opinion.
FC Bayern continues to work on strengthening its squad and has apparently set its sights on a German national team player. Nathaniel Brown of Eintracht Frankfurt is reportedly on the verge of a move to Munich. While negotiations are underway, a clear statement has now also come from within the national team.
Aleksandar Pavlovic, who plays alongside Brown on the DFB squad, would expressly support a transfer for his teammate. “Absolutely. He’s a good guy, a good soccer player. It’s fun playing with him,” Pavlovic said on Sunday after the German national team’s 7-1 victory over Curaçao.
Brown himself made an impact in the rout. The Amberg native contributed an assist and a goal of his own, underscoring why the Munich club is interested in him. Pavlovic was visibly pleased with his teammate’s performance: “I was definitely very happy about his goal. I told him, ‘Enjoy the moment, have fun!’ And that’s exactly what he did,” explained the Bayern pro, referring to Brown’s goal that made it 5-1.
Brown transfer reportedly nearing completion
According to various media reports, Brown’s move from Eintracht Frankfurt to Munich is nearing completion. The Hessian club is reportedly asking for around 55 million euros for the German international. All parties are reportedly confident that an agreement will be reached shortly.
The left-back has now earned a spot in the starting lineup for the German national team under head coach Julian Nagelsmann. His strong performance against Curaçao is likely to have further solidified that status.
Brown has been under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt since January 2024. Since then, he has played 75 competitive matches for the Hessian club and has become a key player there. There has been no official confirmation of the transfer yet. However, it is clear that talks between the parties involved are reportedly at an advanced stage.
