Harry Kane has won the next major individual award of his career. The FC Bayern striker has once again secured the Golden Boot after his outstanding season and can now officially call himself Europe’s top goalscorer
With 36 goals in the Bundesliga, Kane was not only once again top scorer in Germany, but also beat off all competition in Europe
The Englishman collected a total of 72 points through the UEFA scoring system, winning the Golden Boot for the second time since the 2023/24 season
Kane leaves Haaland and Mbappé behind
Manchester City’s Erling Haaland finished in second place
The Norwegian scored 27 goals in the Premier League, taking his tally to 54 points. Haaland had won the award in the 2022/23 season
Third place went to Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé, who scored 25 times in La Liga and collected a total of 50 points
One of Kane’s Bundesliga rivals also made it into the top scorers in Europe. Deniz Undav of VfB Stuttgart finished in the top ten with 19 goals and 38 points. The international played a strong season and was one of the Swabians‘ key performers
Kane confirms his historic Bayern season

For Harry Kane, the award is the next crowning glory of an exceptional season
The Englishman led FC Bayern to the league and DFB Cup double with his goals and scored an incredible 61 goals in 51 competitive matches
In the cup final against VfB Stuttgart alone, Kane scored three times and almost single-handedly shot Munich to the title
Particularly remarkable: Kane won the Golden Boot with exactly the same number of goals as in his first Bayern season. The Englishman had already dominated the Bundesliga in 2023/24 with 36 goals, securing Europe’s top scorer crown for the first time
The 32-year-old thus impressively confirmed his exceptional consistency at absolute world-class level
For FC Bayern, Kane has long been far more than just a goalscorer, with Uli Hoeneß even describing him as „the best transfer we have ever made“ after the cup win
