The conflict between the fans of FC Bayern and the Dortmund police continues to cause discussion. Before the Bundesliga home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach, the supporters of the record champions sent a clear signal – with several protest banners in Munich’s south curve
Even before kick-off, various banners could be seen in the fan block with which the Ultras expressed their criticism of the security measures at the recent classic in Dortmund
The banners included clear messages such as „No proportionality, no legality“, „Together for our rights – freedom for the curve“ and „Against arbitrariness! Against repression!“
The protest action was inspired by the events surrounding the Bundesliga top match between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern
Disputes before the classic match

Prior to the match at Signal Iduna Park, there were incidents in the admission control area. According to the police, some visiting fans tried to break through a control
The situation led to physical altercations between Bayern supporters and security staff
The organized fan group „Südkurve München“ then clearly contradicted the police’s statements, which spoke of „serious violent assaults by the police unit deployed against FC Bayern fans“. Many supporters see the security forces as responsible for the escalation
The fans feel they were treated unfairly at the admission control and speak of harassment by the local police
The Dortmund police also responded to the accusations with a statement of their own and rejected the criticism
The conflict between Bayern fans and the authorities thus remains unresolved, but the protest banners in the south curve clearly show that the events surrounding the Dortmund match continue to preoccupy the record champion’s fan scene.
