As reported by Sport BILD, the talks with Andreas Sadlo, the Austrian international’s advisor, are currently causing „headaches“ for the Bayern bosses. According to the report, there has only been one initial exchange between the parties so far – and this was several months ago
At the end of last year, sporting director Max Eberl and sporting director Christoph Freund are said to have submitted an initial offer for a contract extension, which, according to the report, included slightly improved conditions for the midfielder
High salary demands cause standstill
However, Sadlo hardly responded to the offer. Instead, the advisor merely signaled that the ideas regarding salary were currently too far apart to continue concrete negotiations. As a result, a temporary break in talks was agreed

Laimer currently earns around ten million euros per year at FC Bayern, but the 28-year-old is demanding an annual salary of more than 15 million euros for a contract extension, according to the report – a significant increase
Such a sum would catapult the Austrian significantly upwards in the record champions‘ internal salary structure. Particularly explosive: Laimer’s consultancy agency ROOF knows Munich’s salary structures very well. Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka are also represented by the agency
Bayern faces strategic decision
Despite the difficult negotiations, there is currently no acute time pressure. Laimer is still tied to FC Bayern until 2027. However, if no long-term agreement is reached, a sale could become an option for Munich next summer in order to generate a transfer fee
However, the player himself remains relaxed about the whole issue. In mid-February, Laimer told Sport Bild about his future: „There aren’t many talks at the moment. I’m still relaxed.“ He continued: „You shouldn’t get your head too full.“
