FC Bayern are experiencing a winter full of attacking galas in the Bundesliga, with Michael Olise at the center of attention and making headlines with his consistent performances on the right wing. The Frenchman is continuing a run that has long seemed unrivalled in Munich.
The record champions won the top match in the Bundesliga 5:1 against TSG Hoffenheim on matchday 21. Olise once again contributed an assist and shaped the game with pace and vision, continuing the 24-year-old’s extraordinary run of assists.

& 16 – Michael Olise collected an assist in his sixth consecutive Bundesliga game – only Thomas Müller had managed that for @FCBayern in 2021 (7) since 2004/05. With 16 assists this Bundesliga season, Olise has surpassed his tally from the previous season (15). Draft horse. pic.twitter.com/XViope5Cbo

Olise has now provided at least one assist in six Bundesliga games in a row. According to data from OptaFranz, only Thomas Müller has achieved this feat at FC Bayern since the start of detailed data collection in 2004/05, and he even managed seven games in a row in 2021. Olise is therefore only one game behind the club’s internal record.
Olise already surpasses figures from last season

At the same time, the winger is continuing to raise his season figures. With 16 assists in the current Bundesliga season, he has already surpassed his personal best from the previous season, when he made 15 assists but needed a full season to do so.
The figures underline Olise’s growing importance for Munich’s attack. In combination with players such as Harry Kane and Luis Diaz, the Frenchman has become the central pacemaker on the flanks and regularly creates dangerous situations in the final third.
Against Hoffenheim, however, there was a darker side to Olise’s evening. The right winger picked up his fifth yellow card of the current Bundesliga season and will therefore miss the upcoming league match against Werder Bremen. Olise will therefore have to interrupt his assist streak from the stands for the time being.
