FC Bayern are apparently on the verge of a visual style change for the 2026/27 season – at least between the posts. A new jersey leak suggests that the Munich goalkeepers could appear much more colourful than usual in the future
As the portal Footy Headlines reports, a possible FC Bayern goalkeeper jersey for the 2026/27 season has emerged, which has probably never existed in this form before. Instead of the classic colors, the design is dominated by a strong pink base color, with a geometrically structured pattern print on the front that is clearly reminiscent of an iconic goalkeeper jersey from 1994 and thus deliberately picks up on the retro idea
The three green Adidas stripes on the shoulders and sleeves are particularly eye-catching and form a strong contrast together with the white collar and white cuffs. Pink, green and white create a polarizing colour scheme that clearly stands out from the traditional jerseys of the German record champions. The look is rounded off by the Adidas cloverleaf logo, which is to be used more frequently again as part of the kit manufacturer’s new retro orientation
According to estimates by Footy Headlines, the hit rate of such leaks is around 85%. Even though neither FC Bayern nor Adidas have officially confirmed the design yet, the designs are considered quite realistic in the jersey scene
Not unique to Bayern: standard design with a signal effect
One detail in particular is worth noting, which points beyond FC Bayern. According to information from Footy Headlines, the pink-green colour combination is not a design developed exclusively for the Munich club. Rather, it is said to be a standardized colourway from the new Adidas goalkeeper collection with cloverleaf logo. This means that similar kits could also appear at other clubs equipped by Adidas in the future
Nevertheless, this would be a clear statement for FC Bayern. The club, which traditionally relies heavily on recognizability and classic colors, would thus allow its goalkeepers to make a decidedly bold appearance. Particularly in international comparison, where goalkeeper kits are increasingly being used as a field for fashion experimentation, this would be a visible sign that Munich is also prepared to break new ground
It remains to be seen whether the bright pink goalkeeper jersey will actually be seen on the big stages of Europe.
