Kane could sign mega contract with FC Bayern
The strategy behind this is clear: instead of going deep into the market for a successor in the foreseeable future, Bayern want to plan their attack around Kane in the long term. An extension would not only give the club sporting stability, but also planning security at the highest level
No details of the term or salary are yet known, but Kane could once again receive a truly mega contract. He is already Bayern’s top earner with a rumoured salary of up to €25 million per year. Since his move from Tottenham to Munich, Kane has always delivered and has a remarkable goal rate. He is also well integrated and has become an absolute leading player. An extension would therefore certainly not mean he would earn significantly less than before. A term until 2030 is even possible
One thing is certain in any case: with the planned start of talks in February, the issue of extending Kane’s contract is taking concrete shape. The signs indicate that FC Bayern would like to keep its goalscorer beyond 2027 – and that both sides are fundamentally prepared to go down this path together.
