FC Bayern are continuing to push ahead with their youth development strategy. In their search for the stars of tomorrow, the Munich club are turning their attention to the Netherlands – and have apparently come across a particularly exciting talent
As the Dutch portal Varkenoordfan reports, Bayern are looking closely at Adam Daniel Dos Santos from Feyenoord Rotterdam’s youth academy
The name is unlikely to be a household name, even among experts. No wonder: Dos Santos is only 14 years old and currently plays in Feyenoord’s U16s. Nevertheless, the centre-back is considered internally to be one of the traditional club’s greatest defensive talents. He has been training in Rotterdam since 2018, has passed through all youth levels and recommended himself as a leading player early on
The maturity with which Dos Santos performs is particularly striking. The defender impresses with his strong anticipation, clean positioning and remarkable calmness in tackles. He also has a physical presence and tactical intelligence – qualities that perfectly match the profile that FC Bayern is looking for in young defenders
Bayern not alone – Leipzig also interested

According to information from the Netherlands, however, Munich are not the only interested party. RB Leipzig are also said to be keeping a close eye on the young defender. Feyenoord, for their part, would like to react and offer Dos Santos a professional contract as early as possible in order to tie him to the club in the long term. The player currently still has a training contract
For FC Bayern, Dos Santos would be another piece of the puzzle in the long-term campus strategy. After several investments in young talent in recent years, it is once again clear that the record champions are not just thinking about the next transfer period, but about the next five to ten years. Whether the Munich club will succeed in outdoing Feyenoord at this early stage remains to be seen – the interest is certainly real.
