According to the latest reports, Inter Milan are looking to strengthen their central defence in the summer. Bayern professional Minjae Kim is said to have caught the eye of Milan.
After the Asian Cup, things went downhill for Minjae Kim at FC Bayern. The centre-back has lost his regular place for the time being. A situation that Inter Milan are apparently keeping a close eye on and could possibly take advantage of in the summer.
As the Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the Nerazzurri have a concrete interest in the 27-year-old South Korean. Even though Kim has not put in a convincing performance for FCB recently, the defender still enjoys a very high reputation in Italy. According to the report, Inter were already interested in Kim in the summer of 2023, but lost out in the bidding for the defender.
Minjae Kim: „I’m not particularly dissatisfied“
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter could make another attempt next summer. A loan is therefore on the cards. However, it is very unlikely that Bayern will let the 50 million man go after just one season.
Despite his current reserve role, Kim himself does not appear to be really unhappy in Munich: „I’m not particularly unhappy and I’m continuing to train hard as always. I always have confidence in my abilities when I go out on the pitch,“ he explained recently.
