Harry Kane continues to be in top form. The Bayern Munich striker not only scores regularly for the Munich club, but the 33-year-old also continues to deliver while wearing the English national team jersey. For Jude Bellingham, one thing has long been clear: Kane holds a very special place in the history of the Three Lions.
In an interview with the English TV network ITV, the Real Madrid star has now paid a remarkable tribute to his captain. Bellingham’s praise wasn’t limited to Kane’s athletic abilities, however.
“I can only speak from my own perspective, and first and foremost, he’s an incredible person. As a captain and as a person, he looks out for every single one of us,” the midfielder explained.
Kane is “the best English player” of all time
Bellingham was particularly clear when discussing the Bayern striker’s importance to the English national team.
“On the field, he’s the best English player to ever wear the jersey,” the 23-year-old gushed. A remarkable statement given the numerous legends who have played for the Three Lions in the past.
Kane has long since secured his place in English soccer history. In the recent 3-0 victory over the Czech Republic, the Bayern star made his 125th international appearance, tying Peter Shilton’s record for most caps. With his two-goal performance, he also brought his tally to 91 goals for England.

But what impresses Bellingham most is his captain’s versatility. Kane has long been much more than a classic center forward.
“It’s an honor to play with him. He plays at a level that’s second to none. He scores goals like they’re going out of style, drops deep, plays through balls, contributes in every way, gets into tackles, and does everything imaginable,” emphasized the Real Madrid pro.
“He just keeps getting better.”
It is precisely this versatility that sets Kane apart at FC Bayern as well. The forward doesn’t limit himself to his role in the penalty area but regularly drops back into midfield to help build up play.
What Bellingham finds particularly impressive is that Kane continues to improve despite his long career. His conclusion is accordingly clear: “He just keeps getting better.”
Kane’s current performances certainly support this assessment. The Bayern striker is also in outstanding form in the ongoing Nations League. After the first four matchdays, he has six goals and one assist, leading the competition’s scoring chart.
