The 24-year-old’s stats are impressive: In his nine appearances so far this season for both club and country, Olise has scored nine goals and provided four assists. In total, he has been directly involved in 13 goals.

Unsurprisingly, Olise is also being celebrated in his home country for his performance. The French newspaper L’Équipe called it a “great performance at the perfect time” and summed up the decisive moment with the words: “Olise’s lightning strike brings victory to Les Bleus.”
These reactions underscore the stature the 24-year-old has now earned. Although he has started only seven of his nine matches for Bayern and France, he has already contributed to 13 goals directly.
