Olise is often extremely taciturn during interviews. Even at public events or award ceremonies, the Frenchman sometimes gives the impression that he would prefer to avoid the spotlight entirely.
According to information from Sport BILD, this behavior has also been a topic of discussion within FC Bayern. Club officials reportedly wanted to better understand why Olise keeps such a low profile in public.
Bayern met with Olise’s agent
This led to an unusual conversation. According to the report, FC Bayern met with Olise’s agent, Glen Tweneboah, in Munich.
The discussion did not focus on athletic performance or the future of the attacking star, who is under contract through 2029. Rather, the club wanted to discuss Olise’s public demeanor and find ways to better project his image in a way that aligns with FC Bayern’s interests.
The goal: Olise should, for example, present himself a bit more openly at marketing and sponsorship events and, in doing so, more clearly demonstrate to the outside world that he feels at home at FC Bayern.
Apparently, the conversation had an effect. According to Sport BILD, the German record champions have been even more satisfied with Olise since then. The 24-year-old is making a greater effort to represent the club positively during public appearances.
Internally, Olise already enjoys an excellent reputation. His teammates find the Frenchman to be much more open than the public perceives him to be. The conversation with his agent nevertheless shows that Bayern isn’t entirely indifferent to how its superstar is perceived by the outside world.
