Michael Olise is one of the best players in the world. He proved that once again when he broke the assist record at the 2026 World Cup, setting up seven goals in the end. Now, a market value update has taken him to new heights.
It’s no surprise that FC Bayern wants to extend Michael Olise’s contract as early as possible. On the one hand, because he’s an outstanding soccer player; on the other, because the rumors surrounding a move to Real Madrid just won’t go away.
The Transfermarkt website has now released a new update on market values, and Olise is one of the players who were able to increase their value even further during the World Cup.
Olise with Record Market Value
Olise even broke a record in the process. His value rose from 150 to 170 million euros. Never before has a player under contract with a Bundesliga club had a value this high. In the 2021–22 season, Erling Haaland briefly reached the 150-million mark while playing for BVB before moving to Manchester to join City.
Olise also finds himself in an elite group in the current overall rankings. Only three players are valued higher than the French attacking midfielder.
Two players currently lead the pack with a market value of 220 million euros. These are the aforementioned Haaland, as well as Lamine Yamal of FC Barcelona, who won the World Cup with Spain.
Olise’s national teammate Kylian Mbappé, valued at 200 million euros, also ranks ahead of the Bayern star. Jude Bellingham (€160 million), Pedri (€150 million), as well as Vinicius Jr., Vitinha, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (€140 million each) all rank behind Olise.
