The Bayern star also gave a very pragmatic reason for this: „Given the titles I’ve won this season and the number of goals I’ve scored, I’ll be in the running.“ However, there are also some prominent contenders outside of Dembele. Michael Olise, who also played a fantastic season at FC Bayern, is certainly one of them. Players like Vitinha or Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also need to be considered
It is clear that an international title with the English national team in the summer would put Kane in an even better position
The circumstances of the award ceremony are already special for the striker. „I’ve seen that the ceremony is being held in London. Maybe that’s a good omen for me. Winning it in my home city would make it even more special,“ explained Kane.
