FC Bayern have clear plans for a talented player – a loan in the summer is a serious option
Bara Sapoko Ndiaye has enjoyed a meteoric rise so far and has been able to gain his first Bundesliga experience with the FC Bayern professionals
The 18-year-old has been in the squad several times recently and made his fourth Bundesliga appearance in a row in the 3-3 draw against Heidenheim. The talented midfielder can also justifiably hope for more minutes in the remaining games of the season
As reported by tz, Bayern have made a clear decision: Ndiaye is to be signed permanently at the end of his loan. The youngster is currently still under contract with partner club Gambino Stars Africa, but is to remain in Munich permanently in future
The plan is for the midfielder to complete the summer preparations with the professionals and continue to recommend himself there. Internally, he is apparently expected to take the next step in his development
The starting position could even be favourable for Ndiaye. With possible departures in midfield, squad places could become available, which would create additional opportunities for the youngster. Noël Aseko Nkili is currently the only returnee for this position
Kompany a big supporter
Coach Vincent Kompany in particular is a big fan of the talented youngster, and the Belgian had already made a strong case for signing him in the winter after Ndiaye made a lasting impression in a test match
„He is a young talent who brings a lot of pace as a midfielder. Things are going well for him,“ explained Kompany in the club magazine 51
Despite the positive development, an immediate permanent role in the professional squad is not guaranteed. Should FC Bayern add personnel in midfield in the summer, a loan within the Bundesliga could become the preferred solution
The aim would be to give Ndiaye regular match practice at a high level and to develop him further in a targeted manner. Those responsible want to offer the talent the best possible conditions to take the next step.
