FC Bayern and sporting goods manufacturer Adidas are always causing a stir among fans with their new jerseys. A new jersey is now set to have it all again
The German record champions and their jerseys are a topic that stirs up controversy among supporters every year. The constantly changing design of the home jerseys is particularly polarizing: fans have repeatedly expressed their desire for classic red and white jerseys with protests in the Allianz Arena
However, Munich’s latest kit is by no means intended to be classic. It is the pre-match shirt in which Harry Kane and Co. will appear before matches in 2026. As the jersey platform Footy Headlines revealed, the new kit is planned as a warm-up shirt for the upcoming second half of the season
A jersey like a painting: brushstroke effect stands out
Based on a white base tone, the jersey is adorned with wide red and light blue vertical stripes. Small dashed and dotted details, some lightly decorated with yellow paint, give the structure a painterly blurred look and are reminiscent of drawings made with a brush. In addition, a broad black line runs across the chest and sleeves below the regular club and black supplier logo
On the back, the black horizontal bar interrupts the red vertical stripes running above it, while the loin area is kept white. The black color of the horizontal bar is also picked up in the collar, which rounds off the design in contrast to the white base tone

The look is by no means boring. With this wild design, the record champions are showing courage – and perhaps causing displeasure among the fans again. However, the jersey debate is likely to be limited this time. The criticism to date has mainly been limited to the home jersey anyway
When it came to the warm-up shirts, Bayern and Adidas had already taken unusual paths in the past, with unusual looks, such as camouflage-style shirts, which won over the fans.
