As BILD reports, coach Vincent Kompany is planning to nominate the 1.65-metre attacking player for a competitive match for the first time for the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach. For the young dribbler, it would be the next important step in his still young career
Cardozo is one of the most exciting talents on the Bayern campus. The Brazilian, who grew up in Thailand and has a Portuguese passport, first moved to Munich in 2024
At that time, he initially joined the FC Bayern World Squad – an international youth team of the record champions – as a trial player, where he was coached by former Bayern striker Roy Makaay, among others, who promoted the technically strong attacking player early on
The next step in his career followed just a few months later: at the beginning of 2025, Cardozo moved permanently to Munich’s youth academy, where he signed a youth contract until 2027
Strong performances at youth level
The attacking player quickly developed into an eye-catching player at the campus. Cardozo first played for the U17s, followed by appearances for the U19s
The dribbling attacking player scored five goals in 17 games for the youth team. He also made a good impression in his first appearances for FC Bayern II in the regional league, where he has featured twice so far
