He was one of the offensive assets in both victories against Unterhaching and Hankofen. Special career path to FC Bayern
Cardozo’s path to Munich is unusual: the attacking player was born in Brazil but grew up in Thailand, where his father was a professional footballer
At the age of ten, he moved to the STB Sports Thai Bavaria Academy, which works closely with FC Bayern. At the beginning of 2024, Cardozo finally made the leap to the international U18 team of the Global Academy at the Bayern Campus and later became part of the U19 World Squad project
At the beginning of last year, he moved to Munich’s U17s and was promoted to the U19s in the summer, where he impressed with strong performances: in 17 appearances, Cardozo scored five goals and set up five more
The next step followed at the start of the year: the jump to the Bayern amateurs. 17-year-old Cardozo was in the starting eleven for the 1-0 opening win against Unterhaching and the 2-0 win against Hankofen-Hailing
With the contract extension, the Munich club is now sending a clear signal for the further development of the talented attacking player on campus.
