Hello and welcome to the LIVETICKER of the Champions League draw! The draw for the round of 16 begins at 12.00 noon in Nyon. From FC Bayern’s point of view, it’s already clear: the record champions will either face Bayer Leverkusen or Atalanta Bergamo
This could be a real killer scenario – especially in the event of a German duel
Crazy match schedule possible: Leverkusen four times?
If it comes to a clash with Bayer Leverkusen, there could be a real marathon of duels in the coming weeks
The two teams will meet in the DFB Cup semi-final (21/22 April) and if Leverkusen are also drawn to face FC Bayern today, up to four direct encounters would be possible within the space of a few weeks
Particularly explosive: In the round of 16, there would be a first and second leg (March 10/11 & 17/18) – with the Bundesliga clash on matchday 26 on March 14 in between
A real block of classics – three matches against each other within a few days would be possible

The eight best teams in the league phase – including FC Bayern – are seeded and will each be assigned a play-off winner
Important: Today’s draw not only determines the round of 16, but the entire tournament tree up to the final in Budapest. There will be no more draws after the round of 16
