FC Bayern were held to a draw by Hamburger SV. One week after their first defeat of the season in the Bundesliga, the Munich side once again had to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw at the Volksparkstadion. While internal analysis is ongoing, one player remains conspicuously quiet: Harry Kane
The record champions initially fell behind against HSV, turned the game around after the break, but once again failed to hold on to the lead. It was the second winless league game in a row – an unusual situation for Bayern, who had been dominant for much of the season
Kane praises fighting spirit: „We have to keep going“

Speaking to bundesliga.com, Harry Kane assessed the game objectively and refrained from expressing alarm. „It was a tough game against a good team – especially in their stadium, with the fans and the atmosphere,“ explained the attacker after the final whistle
In his view, the first half in particular was balanced. „The first half was difficult, it was probably 50:50. Nevertheless, we had our moments where we could have played better in the final third,“ said Kane. However, the picture changed after the break: „In the second half, I think we played well. We looked like the more dangerous team.“
Despite missing out on the win, the Englishman highlighted his team’s commitment. „I’m proud of the team and the fighting spirit we showed. We have to keep going,“ emphasized the 32-year-old
No reason to be nervous
Kane’s composure with regard to the overall situation is particularly remarkable. While the draw in Hamburg and the defeat against Augsburg have triggered discussions, the Bayern striker remains calm. „It’s been an extremely intense month with lots of games, so we can’t complain now,“ he explained
Kane sent out a clear signal with regard to the rest of the season: „The season is still long, there’s no reason to get nervous. We just have to prepare well.“
The words of the top goalscorer reflect the attitude that currently prevails at Säbener Straße. Bayern are aware of their current weaknesses, but see no reason to panic. The coming weeks with crucial games in the Bundesliga and cup will show whether Munich have drawn the right conclusions from their recent loss of points.
