In principle, Bayern know that Upamecano feels at home in Munich. The centre-back enjoys working with coach Vincent Kompany and plays a central role in the sport. According to consistent media reports, the player’s side demanded a clause of 65 million euros, which would take effect from the summer of 2027 – just one year after the new contract comes into force.
