The 30-year-old spoke about his everyday life as a father of four and gave a rare glimpse behind the scenes: „Everyone slowly wakes up at home at 6.30 a.m. Then I march to the school bus with the eldest, then I drive the others to kindergarten and then I go to training.“
Kimmich made it clear that the time required as a professional is often overestimated: „Real team training is about one to one and a half hours a day, purely active sports we do two, two and a half hours a day – that’s not as much time as you often think.“
