FC Bayern impressively continued their strong season in October 2025. The Munich side dominated the Bundesliga, impressed in the Champions League and also advanced safely to the next round of the DFB Cup. In addition, a great talent increasingly came into focus.
They began with a commanding away performance at Eintracht Frankfurt, combining purposefully through the home side’s ranks and deservedly winning 3:0. Luis Díaz scored early on after 15 seconds, Harry Kane later made it 2:0 in the 27th minute before Díaz marked the final score in the closing stages.
Bayern were also successful in the classic against Borussia Dortmund, winning 2-1 in the top-of-the-table clash. Harry Kane headed home from a corner before Michael Olise made it 2-0 with a spectacular finish. Dortmund could only reduce the deficit through Julian Brandt, but the three points remained in Munich.
The start of the Karl hype
FCB also remained in top form in the top flight, starting the group stage against Club Brugge with a clear 4:0 victory and dominating for long stretches. Lennart Karl finally became the eye-catcher in this match: the young attacking player scored early and became the talk of the media and fans overnight – a hype that was further consolidated in the following weeks. In the other league match at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayern won 3:0. A compact team performance in which both offence and defence were convincing.
Bayern faced 1. FC Köln in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup and won 4:1. After falling behind early on, the Munich side turned the game around: Kane and Diaz put their team ahead before further goals in the second half secured the clear victory.
With five victories from five competitive matches in October, FC Bayern remained unbeaten in all competitions. The Munich team collected victories in the league, cup and Europe, underlining their leading position both nationally and internationally. The goal tally also speaks for itself: more than a dozen goals in October show the record champions‘ attacking power and make it clear why FCB are still considered one of the top favourites for the season.
So October ended with a clean sheet, an up-and-coming mega-talent and the impression that FC Bayern has confirmed its high level of performance early in the season.
