There are increasing signs that Sacha Boey will leave FC Bayern in the winter, with several clubs having already made enquiries about the right-back according to the latest reports

Track to Crystal Palace has cooled
Crystal Palace were recently considered the top favourites to sign the Frenchman, but as BILD reporters Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl report in the Bayern Insider podcast, the Londoners‘ interest has cooled considerably of late. „Boey was able to put himself in the shop window because he got playing time, but he’s been completely out of the picture for three or four weeks now,“ emphasizes Altschäffl
That’s a problem for any potential buyer. A player who doesn’t play regularly cannot be reliably evaluated – especially not for a club like Crystal Palace, who need reinforcements that work immediately in the winter. As a result, interest has waned noticeably
Falk puts it in a nutshell: „There has been less interest recently, partly because Boey has not been able to show himself. And we have heard that it has died down a little.“
Bavaria sets price tag for Boey
According to consistent media reports, Bayern would be happy to sell the full-back in the winter. Boey, who was signed in January 2024 for around €30 million, does not play a role in Kompany and Bayern’s long-term plans. A sale in the €10-15 million range, as quoted by BILD, would at least help to limit the financial damage. His current market value is estimated at €18 million
But the less often Boey is used, the further his market value will fall – and the more difficult it will be to find a buyer who is prepared to snap him up in the winter break.
