Accordingto a report in the British Times, the Belgian is still a hot candidate for the head coach position at his former club despite having just extended his contract with the record champions.
It was only at the end of October that FC Bayern extended Kompany’s contract early until 2029 – a clear sign of trust and a clear commitment that the 39-year-old will shape the project at Säbener Straße in the long term.
But the rumor mill in England continues to churn, with the Times reporting that City coach Pep Guardiola is reportedly considering ending his contract, which runs until 2027, at the end of this season.
