There is still a big question mark over Joshua Kimmich’s sporting future at FC Bayern. The 29-year-old has repeatedly been linked with a premature departure. As has now become known, Kimmich himself is definitely open to a move at the end of the season.

Will Joshua Kimmich leave FC Bayern in the summer? As Sky reports, this scenario is no longer out of the question. The midfielder’s contract expires in 2025. Sporting director Max Eberl recently announced that he would approach Kimmich soon. So far, however, there have been no talks between the club and the player.

In recent weeks, there have been repeated reports that Kimmich is no longer considered unsellable in Munich. According to Sky, this stance has not changed at Säbener Straße. Should FCB receive an attractive offer in the summer, they would consider it and accept it if in doubt.

According to rumours, the financial pain threshold is 80-90 million euros. Kimmich’s current market value is estimated at 75 million euros by Transfermarkt.

Five top clubs are being considered for Kimmich

Interestingly, Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg reports that Kimmich himself is no longer ruling out a departure at the end of the season. According to the report, the 29-year-old is not 100 per cent satisfied with his situation at the German record champions. In Aleksander Pavlovic, FCB have a promising player who will play in the centre in the future. Bayern are also still looking for a new six-man.

According to Sky, only five clubs are currently considering Kimmich. These include Liverpool FC, FC Arsenal and Manchester City. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are also rumoured to be an option for the DFB star. Paris Saint-Germain, on the other hand, who were heavily linked with a move in the winter, are not interested in Kimmich.

According to Plettenberg, several clubs are monitoring Kimmich’s situation very closely. These include Barcelona and Manchester City.
