FC Bayern is apparently interested in one of the biggest talents in world football. However, the attacking midfielder could be very expensive for the Munich club.
That would be a real transfer sensation! According to information from CalcioMercato, FC Bayern are interested in signing Georgiy Sudakov. The 21-year-old from Shakhtar Donetsk is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in world football.
The young Ukrainian plays in the centre of attacking midfield and is strong on both feet and technically.
Sudakov caused a stir in November during Donetsk’s 1:0 win against FC Barcelona in the Champions League, when he was named Man of the Match and made Barca coach Xavi, among others, rave about him.
However, a transfer of Sudakov could prove very costly for FC Bayern: The midfield youngster still has a contract with the Ukrainians until 2028, which includes: An exit clause with a fixed transfer fee of 150 million euros.
Will Sudakov be more expensive than Mudryk?
However, this does not necessarily mean that Sudakov will be quite as expensive for Munich, as they could of course also negotiate a transfer fee with Donetsk. However, Sudakov is highly coveted by many of Europe’s top clubs. Manchester City, Liverpool FC and Arsenal FC from the Premier League are also rumoured to be interested in him. All of the English clubs would be able to handle a mega transfer.
Donetsk are even hoping to realise a higher transfer fee for jewel Sudakov than for Mykhailo Mudryk. The attacking player was sold to Chelsea FC in the winter of 2023. Transfer fee at the time: around 100 million euros.
So far, however, Mudryk has not been able to fully assert himself in the Premier League. In the winter, FC Bayern apparently approached Chelsea about loaning the 23-year-old.
