The 30-year-old was particularly impressed by Müller’s mindset after the 1-0 defeat to Lazio Roma: „In the changing room after we lost to Lazio in the first leg, Thomas said: ‚It’s 1-0 and now they have to come to the Allianz Arena!“ and added: „Thomas was so calm. Dier, who was labelled an emergency transfer in the winter, has now firmly established himself in the Bayern defence. According to the Englishman himself, he feels very comfortable in Munich: „It’s funny that I’m more appreciated abroad than at home. I really feel the club’s appreciation for me here in Germany.“
