Is FC Bayern looking to the Netherlands for the left-back position? The Munich club are rumoured to be interested in a national player from the country.
According to information from transfer expert Ekrem Konur, FC Bayern Munich are interested in Dutch international Quilindschy Hartman.
The 22-year-old left-footer could play on the far left of the defence for the Munich side, following on from Alphonso Davies, who is currently on the verge of a move to Real Madrid. With Raphael Guerreiro the only other player available for this position, the German record champions are already having to look around.
Quilindschy Hartman in Bayern’s focus
The name Theo Hernandez was recently discussed. Quilindschy Hartman would not be a comparably prominent solution. However, the four-time international for his country, who is still under contract with Feyenoord in the Eredivisie until 2026, has attracted the attention of top clubs with his strong performances. According to Konur, not only FC Bayern, but also clubs from the Premier League and Serie A are fond of Feyenoord’s home-grown talent.
The player is now also a regular in Rotterdam and, following his recent appearances for the national team, he is considered to have a good chance of being nominated for the European Championship squad.
Last year, the defender celebrated the championship with his club. 2023 was also the year in which he made his debut for the national team. He played against France in the European Championship qualifiers and scored his team’s only goal in a 2-1 defeat.
Hartman has been highly rated even before this successful debut. he already has 35 appearances in all competitions and 7 assists to his name in the current season. He has also made two appearances in the Europa League and six appearances in the Champions League. Ultimately, however, a signing would depend on the final decision regarding Alphonso Davies.
