Thomas Tuchel has been heavily criticised in recent days for his public appearance and body language. Many fans, media and experts accuse the 50-year-old of a certain indifference. Tuchel himself has denied this very clearly.

After just over a year, the Thomas Tuchel chapter at FC Bayern is coming to an end. The 50-year-old will leave Munich at the end of the season at the latest. According to Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the chemistry between Tuchel and the team was not right. The 68-year-old also revealed that the Bayern bosses are also surprised that things did not work out at all with the football expert.

For many fans, the past 12 months under Tuchel are among the biggest misunderstandings in the club’s history. The outgoing coach himself draws a different conclusion for himself: „It’s important to stay positive, to take the lessons on board. I will grow from day to day. Of course it’s a big challenge, but I will grow with it,“ he emphasised at the matchday press conference ahead of the clash against Lazio Roma.

„It’s my great passion, my great love“

Tuchel has been repeatedly labelled a lame duck recently. When asked whether the players still listen to him at all, the Munich head coach had a very clear answer: „Of course. That’s why we played a good second half,“ he emphasised, referring to the 2:2 draw against Freiburg last weekend.

The FCB coach also made it clear that he will give everything for the German record champions until the very last day: „I don’t like losing. I don’t like not having the influence. It’s just football. It’s my great passion, my great love. It never feels like a job. I will be involved one hundred per cent and more, right up to the last game with Bayern.“
