Even though the Bayern bosses are said to have agreed internally that they do not want to let Ryan Gravenberch go next summer despite his reserve role, Liverpool FC are still courting the Dutchman’s favour. A potential deal is now taking more concrete shape. According to a report from England, there is already a pre-contract between the „Reds“ and the 20-year-old.

Will he leave Bayern after just one season or will he stay in the end? The poker game surrounding Ryan Gravenberch keeps taking new turns. Now it is said that Liverpool FC have apparently come a good deal closer to signing the Dutchman. According to the British newspaper „Mirror“, the „Reds“ have already reached an agreement with the 20-year-old’s playing side on a lucrative contract. Both Gravenberch’s father and his agent Jose Fortes Rodriguez have been involved in the talks.

According to the report from England, the terms of Gravenberch’s contract should not pose a problem for the Reds. According to the Mirror, the Dutchman currently earns around 100,000 euros per week at FC Bayern (after tax). Liverpool, on the other hand, are said to be open to offering the 20-year-old a weekly salary of 200,000 euros, i.e. double his current salary at the record champions.

Liverpool hope for a signal from Munich

The two parties are said to have discussed the terms of the contract during talks in Amsterdam last Wednesday. The Premier League club are now hoping for a signal from Munich that they are not completely averse to selling Gravenberch after all. The „Reds“ are said to be tempting Bayern by saying that they will pay them at least the transfer fee that the record champions paid Ajax Amsterdam last summer. The FCB had spent around 18.5 million euros for Gravenberch.

Just two years ago, the Dutchman was awarded the prestigious „Johan Cruyff Award“. After his transfer to Munich, however, the 20-year-old hardly got a chance to play. After Liverpool reached their financial limits in the poker game for Jude Bellingham, Jürgen Klopp’s club is looking for a cheap alternative for the midfield, which could possibly be Ryan Gravenberch.
