FC Bayern has been linked with the signing of Randal Kolo Muani for some time now. Recently, reports even made the rounds that the Munich team was working on an offer for the 24-year-old striker. As has now become known, however, the Frenchman is not a concrete topic at the Säbener Straße.
With 21 goals in 18 games, Randal Kolo Muani is one of the top scorers in the Bundesliga. Due to the fact that the Bavarians play with the idea of signing a new striker next summer, it was only a matter of time until the Frenchman is associated with the record champion.
As the French „L’Equipe“ reported this week, the Bavarians are said to be already in contact with the player side and are considering making an offer for the attacker in the summer. In Germany, however, these reports have now been denied.
Kolo Muani is not a transfer target of FC Bayern
As the two „BILD“ reporters Christian Falk and Tobias Altschäffl in the podcast „Bayern Insider“ report, FCB Bayern has Kolo Muani for quite some time on the radar, already at his times when he still played in the French league, but concrete step in terms of commitment has never been made. Even now there are no signs that one will strive the Munich next summer for the striker.
Accordingly, there is currently no contact with the player and also no offer on the part of Bayern. Even if Kolo Muani would be willing to leave Frankfurt, the French international would simply be too expensive for Bayern. According to reports, the pain threshold of Frankfurt is 80-100 million euros. The current market value of the vice world champion is estimated at just under 40 million euros.
In addition to Bayern, Kolo Muani is also said to be on the watch list at Liverpool FC and Manchester United.
