The Senegalese forward did not look dangerous in attack and his finishing was questionable once again and Julian Nagelsmann subbed him off around the 57th minute for Kingsley Coman.

The 34-year coach explained his decision in a Post-Game interview in which he said the following statement in defense of Mane:

„I’m not worried. He played a very good game against Freiburg. Today he was very tired from the trip to Paris. He didn’t sleep all night, that’s why we subbed him off. But I wanted to let him in the momentum and to have him in some continuity

This also questions why Mane even started if he was not ready, knowing the fact that Kingsley Coman was suspended for the last Matchday, and was fully fresh to start this game, but in the end, everything went good for Bayern and it remains to be seen what will be Mane’s status in next game against TSG Hoffenheim in 2 days.
