Voices about a new number 9 in Munich are increasing following the recent performances in the Bundesliga. According to reports, Bayern Munich have intensified their efforts to sign Harry Kane.
Although sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has recently denied that Bayern are working on a transfer of Harry Kane, the rumors in England say differently.
Even though „Brazzo“ made it clear a few weeks ago that Bayern will only be signing a striker if the current experiment this season does not work, there will definitely be movements in the coming year for a new number 9.
German tabloid „BILD“ recently revealed that the Bavarians are in contact with Charlie Kane, the Englishman’s agent and brother. Bayern are said to make an offer for Kane if he doesn’t extend the contract with Tottenham Hotspurs.
According to Sean Walsh & Graeme Bailey, Bayern Munich, despite the public denials, continue to work in the background on a Kane transfer and have recently even intensified their efforts. Kane himself is now said to be seriously considering a transfer to Munich.
With the increased efforts, Spurs are said to have become „nervous“ as the club is open to contract negotiations with Kane before the World Cup. The England international, on the other hand, doesn’t want to „rush“ things.
Kane has a contract with Spurs that expires in 2024 and has been linked with a departure over the past few years.
