Bayern Munich reach agreement with Liverpool for Sadio Mane – transfer details revealed

The wait is over, Bayern Munich have secured the third signing of the summer, but a major one. Bayern have reached an agreement with Liverpool FC over Sadio Mane.



The Senegalese will be Bayern’s newest addition for the summer. The chase for the 30 years old winger has resulted successfully, with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic being the main man to lead and push for the deal since day one. Following the collapsed contract extension with star striker Robert Lewandowski, it was time for ‚Brazzo‘ to redeem himself.

The sporting director flew to Liverpool to meet Liverpool’s officials in the weekend and secure the deal for Sadio Mane. The clubs have finally reached an agreement after a series of negotiations and refused bids.

Sadio Mane will move to Bayern Munich for a fixed fee of 33 million euros, this fee can rise up to 41 million in the full package depending on the bonus payments. According to BILD and Liverpool insider Paul Joyce, the club will pay a part of the bonuses that are achievable, such as match appearances, compared to the other part of the bonuses that include a Champions League win or a Ballon d’Or win, which are not very guaranteed.

According to „TheAthletic“, the Senegalese will undergo Bayern medical next week and will sign a three-year contract with Bayern. The salary is told to be around 20 million euros, according to what has been agreed between Bayern and Mane regarding the personal agreement.

After Noussair Mazraoui and Ryan Gravenberch, Sadio Mane is the third signing of the summer which is set to be announced shortly after. Mane has played 269 games for Liverpool, where he has scored 120 goals and delivered 48 assists.
