Robert Lewandowski really wants to leave Bayern Munich and has again spoken out negatively about his current employer. The 33-year-old sharply criticized the board with clear words.

Lewandowski has already expressed in recent weeks that he no longer sees his future at Bayern. However, the striker’s choice of words is becoming increasingly explicit

In the Polish podcast of „OnetSport“, Lewandowski didn’t mince his words and above all criticized the Bayern bosses: „Why should they keep me against my will? What kind of player would want to come to FC Bayern in the future knowing that something like this could happen to him? Where’s the loyalty and respect in that?”

From the Pole’s point of view, he deserves a transfer release in the summer: „That doesn’t make any sense. Not after this time. I would understand if I played here for 2-4 years, but after such a successful journey, loyalty and respect should be more important here than business.“

So far, the 2 times FIFA Best Player has not really articulated any concrete reasons for his Bayern exit. According to rumors, Lewandowski was not exactly happy with the fact that Bayern tried harder to sign Erling Haaland than offer an extension with him.

Lewandowski is aiming for a move to FC Barcelona. FC Bayern has so far blocked this categorically. The 33-year-old, on the other hand, is still hoping for a happy ending with Bayern: „I was always ready, I’ve spent 8 wonderful years here, I’ve met so many wonderful people and made friends and I want it to stay that way. „
