Marc Roca has been a candidate for sale at Bayern Munich for some time. Rumors claim that the Spaniard’s next destination could also be in the Bundesliga

„SPORT1“ reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in the midfielder. According to the TV broadcaster, Eintracht have already contacted the player’s entourage and asked Roca if he could imagine a transfer in the summer. Sports director Markus Krösche is a big fan of the 25-year-old and already had him on the radar when he was managing at RB Leipzig.

According to „kicker“ information, Roca wants to leave Bayern in the summer. The former U21 European champion has played just 24 games for FC Bayern in the past 1.5 years, most of them as a substitute. The Spaniard never got beyond a reserve role under either Hansi Flick or Julian Nagelsmann.

With Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Marcel Sabitzer, and Ryan Gravenberch, the competition in Bayern’s midfield is simply too big for Roca. Should Bayern receive an offer, they will certainly not put any obstacles in the player’s way. FC Bayern paid nine million euros for Roca in autumn 2020. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is seven million euros.

In addition to Frankfurt, according to “SPORT1”, there are also other inquiries from abroad. Financially, Eintracht certainly finds it difficult to keep up with clubs from the top European leagues. Though, Eintracht can take advantage of the fact that they reached Champions League football in order to convince Roca. Real Betis and another Spanish club are said to be interested.
