The Brazilian winger joined for another loan spell in Bavaria but has found game time hard to come by and will not be offered a permanent deal.
Douglas Costa will not be getting a permanent deal with Bayern Munich after his second spell with the Bavarian club has been severely underwhelming for the Juventus loanee.
After re-joining Bayern on loan for the season, Costa has struggled for game-time and when he has got it, he has barely been sighted and is on the outer under Hansi Flick. The decision not to renew or secure a permanent deal with Bayern leaves Costa’s career at a crossroads as he is also out of favor with his parent club Juventus.

An injury in February has seen Costa remain sidelined recently however pre-injury, Costa still struggled to live up to the standards he set during the last campaign. Costa has only played 11 times this season with only three starts and that is partly down to the great form of fellow wingers Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman, and Serge Gnabry.
With both Juventus and now Bayern seemingly put off by any type of deal with the Brazilian he will almost certainly be looking for a new club, however, which club will take a punt on a 30-year-old winger who is injury prone and desperately out of form remains to be seen.
