Die Mannschaft has compiled a good squad with the 18-year-old earning selection, however again, experienced players in Thomas Muller, Mats Hummels, and Jerome Boateng have been overlooked.
Young midfield star Jamal Musiala has been called up to represent the German national team for the very first time after he was selected by out-going coach Joachim Low. Musiala has recently committed his international future to Die Mannschaft and has now been rewarded.

The talented midfielder will be looking to feature in some capacity when the World Cup qualifiers against North Macedonia, Iceland, and Romania roll around.
With Covid still wreaking havoc all over the globe, players who ply their trade in England have been granted permission to link up with their national side. Ilkay Gundogan, Antonio Rudiger, Timo Werner, and Kai Havertz will all be available to represent their country.
As I mentioned before, there is still no room for the experienced trio in Mats Hummels, Jerome Boateng, and Thomas Muller, all of whom were left out again. The out-going coach Joachim Low is favoring youth over experience, at least for the upcoming games.

The door remains ajar for them to be included in the Euro Championship in the summer, but if they play no part in the build-up to the tournament, then it would be hard to see them being selected, especially if Germany gets out of their current funk.
Low is still not convinced bringing in the aging trio is the best idea and at this stage, it looks unlikely that they will feature much at all.
