Hansi Flick and his Bayern Munich side will return to action in the Bundesliga when they take on Arminia Bielefeld on Monday, shortly after they claimed the Club World Cup in Qatar to add their sixth title in 12 months.

With a win, Bayern will want to restore their seven-point lead on top of the Bundesliga while Arminia will be looking for an upset to help them move out of the dreaded relegation zone.
Team news
Bayern Munich
Hansi Flick will be without star Thomas Muller for at least the next two matches after the Bayern legend tested positive for Covid-19 while the team was away at the Club World Cup in Qatar. Muller was flown home separately on an ambulance aircraft to avoid spreading the virus to his teammates.
Serge Gnabry is still out through injury as are Tanguy Nianzou and Alexander Nubel.
Arminia
Uwe Neuhaus’s side is close to full strength as there are no suspensions nor injuries for his squad.
Arminia has had a full two weeks rest and there will no doubt be some cobwebs to blow out in the early stages of what has been a tough fixture for them over the years.
Bayern Munich possible starting lineup:
Neuer; Pavard, Boateng, Alaba, Davies; Kimmich, Tolisso; Sane, Musiala, Coman; Lewandowski
The two sides have had vastly different build-ups to this one over the last couple of weeks, so Arminia could make it tough for the hosts, however, Bayern should be too strong once they get into their groove and should run out winners and restore their seven-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.
Scoreline: Bayern Munich 3-0 Arminia
