Bayern boss Hansi Flick had stated that the young striker could go out on loan but the deal was at risk of not being completed and SkyGermany confirmed that both parties did have a deadlock in negotiations.
According to reports, Bayern wanted to include a compulsory option to buy Zirkzee after the loan deal had expired. After lengthy talks, both sides came to an agreement to include a purchase option instead. Fabrizio Romano, an Italian transfer expert stated that the clause to purchase Zirkzee currently stands at €15 million.

Despite nothing official, the youngster spoke to Germany’s Bild-Zeitung, and all but confirmed the deal and other sources are now viewing that as fact.
“It took a while, but I’m glad that it worked out in the end,” Zirkzee said, “I think that I’ll get the chance to develop myself further. Hopefully I can help the team.”
